Helping Hands of Southern California Inc. is a (501) (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization (Federal Tax ID # 82-3166549) Here at Helping Hands of Southern California, we see the value in everyone. Helping Hands of Southern California Inc. started by distributing food and clothing to people living on the streets. As homelessness issues continued to grow in Los Angeles and Orange County, research showed that Housing must be First, a best practice model that first connects people to transitional and then permanent housing, and then focuses on stabilization through voluntary supportive services, proved more effective. Now, over 4 years later, we have 8 Adult Residential Facilities (ARF) that provide supportive housing in our communities. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2017, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Nonprofit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. We at Helping Hands of Southern California Inc. provide cutting edge organization leadership that promotes resources for disenfranchised people living in communities that have been marginalized. ​
